Formerly known as the International Order of Good Templars[1], a temperance movement promoting abstinence from alcohol and drugs[2]. Presumably the name was a rebrand to make themselves more fluffy and approachable in much the same way as the Institute of Alcohol Studies (UK Temperance Alliance Ltd) and American Council on Alcohol Problems (Anti-Saloon League) did.
