A British woman who alleged she was raped in Cyprus has been arrested on suspicion of making a false allegation, according to news agencies.
The 12 Israelis arrested over the alleged attack, which was said to have taken place on 17 July in Ayia Napa, have all been released.

Today London's Appeal Court heard one of her victims was able to rubbish her claims with a 'cast-iron alibi' because he was away on holiday at the time.
Another victim proved that he had been at home watching TV when she claimed he raped her.

The 17-year-old boy was found not guilty after the emergence of thousands of social media messages proving his innocence that police officers had failed to uncover.
He was expelled from his school in Leicestershire in 2016 following his arrest at the age of 15, according to The Times.

A judge criticised prosecutors' "last-minute" decision to drop the case, made after new evidence emerged last week.
Surrey Police admitted its initial investigation into Mr Mears, now 19, had been flawed.
Dec 2012 - Eleanor De Freitas v Alexander Economou
Economou was accused by Eleanor, a 23-year-old trainee accountant, of rape in December 2012, but the case was not pursued by the Crown Prosecution Service due to lack of evidence.
He then brought a private prosecution against Ms de Freitas, accusing her of deliberately lying about the alleged attack.
The CPS took over the prosecution and she was due to face trial for perverting the course of justice when she committed suicide at the family home in Fulham in 2013.

Liam Allan , then 22, went on trial in December 2017 facing 12 counts of rape and sexual assault. He had spent two years on bail and endured three days of trial before the case collapsed as it emerged his supposed victim had been pestering him for "casual sex".

Isaac Itiary, 25, was released from prison yesterday after it emerged the alleged victim posed as a 19-year-old woman and lied about her age.

A woman has been locked up after she tried to blackmail a police officer she met on a dating website by suggesting he wanted to rape her.
Nightclub waitress Georgia Harris recorded the 22-year-old man as she put a “hypothetical” scenario to him about such a sex attack.
She then sent him a “doctored” video clip of part of the conversation with him saying “I would rape you” and her replying “I don’t want you to rape me.”

Last week, North Yorkshire Police said a woman in her twenties had been attacked on a footpath near the University of York in the early hours of Friday, May 13, as she walked behind the Heslington campus.
On Wednesday, a police spokeswoman said the woman had since confirmed to officers "that the events reported did not happen", and "no further action will be taken in this case".
