The UK Centre for Tobacco Control Studies is a network of nine universities working in the field of tobacco control[1]:
- University of Bath
- University of Bristol
- University College London
- University of Edinburgh
- Queen Mary University of London
- University of Nottingham
- University of Oxford
- University of Stirling
- University of York[2]
They are funded entirely by bodies that are totally, or significantly, funded publicly (i.e. from the taxpayer):
- Economic and Social Research Council
- The British Heart Foundation
- Cancer Research UK
- National Institute for Health Research
- Medical Research Council[3]
